Today's Bozos - The Cruiser’s Back Seat Just Looked Really Comfy

Image
The Cruiser’s Back Seat Just Looked Really Comfy For the second day in a row we have a story of a bozo bamboozled by a locked car door. From Portland, Oregon, comes the story of bozo Ruben Tucker who decided to take a little nap inside an unlocked car. We have to assume he didn’t notice it was a police car. Parked in the Southeast Precinct station parking lot. And then there’s another problem…once inside, he couldn’t figure out how to unlock the door to let himself out. He used his finger to write “Help” in condensation on the window, but apparently no one noticed until the day shift arrived the next morning. He was freed and charged with criminal mischief. The “Break-In” Part Worked, It’s the “Break-Out” That’s a Problem Bozo criminal for today comes from the International File in Cologne, Germany, where our unidentified bozo spotted what he thought was an easy target. Seeing an unoccupied Porsche SUV in a parking lot, our bozo opened the unlocked door and climbed inside. He was...

Your Daily Smile ... Resurrection

Image
While the priest was presenting a children's sermon, He asked the children if they knew what the Resurrection was. Now, asking questions during children's sermons is crucial, but at the same time, asking children questions in front of a congregation can also be very dangerous. In response to the question, 'what is the resurrection,' a little boy [Charlie Baumann] raised his hand. The priest called on him and the boy said, 'I know that if you have a resurrection that lasts more than four hours. you are supposed to call the doctor.' It took ten minutes for the congregation to settle down enough to continue the service.

Hamaguchi Image Credit:  NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center/SVS - Inset: NASA, ESA, Hubble SM4 ERO Team     Explanation:  If you're looking for something to print with that new 3D printer, try out a copy of the Homunculus Nebula. The dusty, bipolar cosmic cloud is around 1 light-year across but is slightly scaled down for printing to about 1/4 light-nanosecond or 80 millimeters. The full scale Homunculus surrounds Eta Carinae, famously unstable massive stars in a binary system embedded in the extensive Carina Nebula about 7,500 light-years distant. Between 1838 and 1845, Eta Carinae underwent the Great Eruption becoming the second brightest star in planet Earth's night sky and ejecting the Homunculus Nebula. The new 3D model of the still expanding Homunculus was created by exploring the nebula with the Eur...

What the internet has taught us

If the  internet  has taught us anything, it’s that cats are  gods and  Russia is one crazy place, so it would make perfect sense for them to create an incredibly long pedestrian bridge that looks terrifying. The skybridge is suspended for above the forests of the Krasnaya Polyana valley in south-Westen Russian, near Sochi, and goes on for one kilometer. Opened in January  2015   the bridge hold the world record for the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world and if you are really feeling brave and don’t have a fear of heights you can also bungee jump from the bridge after you have crossed it.
